MOVIES: Official Superman Logo Revealed to Zack Snyder’s ‘Man of Steel’

Posted on March 29, 2012

It's been a while since we've heard or seen anything out of Zack Snyder's upcoming Superman film, Man of Steel, which has been pushed back from it's December 2012 release date to mid-2013. Snyder has taken the liberties to change some of Supe's outfit, including the texture of his suit and the absence of red underwear. He also changed the look of the hero's logo, which you can check out below.

There it is guys, Superman's new symbol, and the new logo to the film. While it does lose the simplistic nature of the red and yellow "S" symbol we're all used to seeing, this is definitely a great look. It's really dark, ominous and "alien-ish." I like it.

The Man of Steel is directed by Zack Snyder, and will star Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman and Michael Shannon as the villain, General Zod. It will also star Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Diane Lane, Kevin Costner, Antje Traue, Julia Ormond, Russell Crowe, Harry Lennix and Christopher Meloni. The movie will hit theaters June 14th, 2013.
