2015 is going to be one hell of a busy year in movies. While the Avengers and the Justice League go head to head in the summer (both movies to surely gross millions, and maybe billions, of dollars worldwide), it's safe to assume that the untitled Star Wars Episode 7 film will be the big winner. And while we don't know too much about the film, rumors have been going around on which actors may be signing on to the highly anticipated third Star Wars trilogy. Well, one actress confirms.
While promoting her upcoming film How I Live Now (which opens this week), Saoirse Ronan confirmed the rumors with Sky News that she has auditioned for a role, but later added "so has everyone."
Sure, her trying out for a role doesn't really say much, except, well, she tried out for a role. But I'm sure fans would still like anything at this point, seeing how director JJ Abrams is known to keep things secret with his projects. But who did she auditioned for? Well, a lot of people have assumed it would be Han Solo and Princess Leia's daughter, Jaina Solo.
So, there. That squashes that rumor, even though she hasn't really signed up for any part. But what do you guys think about Ronan's possible casting?
Star Wars Episode VII begins shooting in England next year, set to release sometime in 2015.
