SDCC 2012: ‘Man of Steel’ Teaser Footage & Poster

Being both a Superman fan and follower of the Man of Steel since it was green-lit, I was incredibly excited to hear about potentially seeing a teaser trailer at Comic-Con this year. As Saturday rolled around, I eagerly waited in the line for a few hours to enter the exhibit hall where they were showing trailers from the various film studios. Well, now that I've officially seen some of Zack Snyder's work, I can definitely say that after seeing the teaser, I was quite ecstatic and my hopes for the film remain highly positive!

Comic-Con 2012 is finally here, and we have some news from the DreamWorks Animation panel! Looks like we'll be getting three more films from the studio, which includes a Madagascar spin-off, another Kung Fu Panda and a whole new film called "Me and My Shadow."

COMIC-CON 2012: Warner Bros. Reveals Big Collectible Bag Designs

You know those giant over sized bags you get when you pick up your pass at Comic-Con? Well, Warner Bros. has revealed this year's designs for selected TV titles. The featured TV titles for the bags include Arrow, The Big Bang Theory, DC Nation, Fringe, Supernatural and The Vampire Diaries. What about the movies? Well, as far as movies go they will have bags for Man of Steel and Pacific Rim, and unfortunately they haven't released pictures for the movie bags yet. Check these out!

It's been roughly four months since we've had our last Cosplay Spotlight article, and I think it's time we did another one. Also, it's currently April, and convention season is upon us! That means more awesome events with awesome people wearing awesome costumes of awesome characters. We've had our last to cosplayers from the other side of the globe, but now we come back to the U.S., specifically in Southern California. Meet John and Rochelle, a cosplaying couple I was fortunate to bump into during, well, practically every con we've attended last year.

Blizzard's annual convention, showing off some of the comapany's upcoming games and projects, will be skipping 2012. So why no BlizzCon? Well, it wants to focus on finishing up Diablo III, StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm, and World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria.

One particular con in Japan, Comic Market (also known as Comiket), is a bi-annual event that showcases work from self-published writers and artists. Comiket is also known for its provocative and racy cosplaying.
