After years of high praise and a strong cult following, 'Black Dynamite' continues his adventures in comic book form. The great people at Nerdist.com and Ars Nova are throwing a celebratory event on April 4th for the first issue titled: BLACK DYNAMITE: SLAVE ISLAND. This event and panel discussion will include Michael Jai White ("Black Dynamite", co-writer), Brian Ash (comic author, writer for 'The Boondocks'), Scott Sanders (director, co-writer), Chris Hardwick (Host of 'Web Soup' and 'Nerdist Podcast') and many more!

It Books published the Simpsons World - The Ultimate Episode Guide: Seasons 1-20, written by Matt Groening, the creator and executive producer of The Simpsons. To celebrate this release, Groening himself is going to be attending a book signing in Los Angeles! So come get the book, get it signed, and meet Mr. Simpson himself.

If you live around the Los Angeles area and are a fan of the Scott Pilgrim film (or book), then I got some awesome news for you! Edgar Wright, director of Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and Scott Pilgrim, will be attending an event at Amoeba Music tomorrow, November 11th at 6:30. Also in attendance will be the creator of Scott Pilgrim, Bryan Lee O'Malley, as well as actors Michael Cera, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, and much more! So if you've bought the Blu-Ray or DVD, come by and get it signed, as well as meeting the cast and creators of the movie.

If you live in California, then I got some news for you! Disney is going to be throwing a meet-up! According to DisneyParks blog, Disney's California Adventure is going to allow fans free access to attend ElecTRONica on October 28, 2010. But wait! They're going to let 3000 people in the park for FREE (that's 1500 RSVPs, one person and a guest). Excited?
