I've seen a lot of pretty cool geeky proposal videos, but this is just too awesome not to share, mainly because this guy is dressed up as Ash Ketchum and he's strutting down the cafeteria with the Pokémon theme song playing right next him.
Japan has its fair share of crazy and awesome stuff, and this latest trend is another one to add to their repertoire. This new trend features schoolgirls and other willing people simulating poses from fights in Dragonball Z.
So what if The Avengers had a Mighty Morphin Power Rangers intro? Well, you'd get this hilarious entry, made by YouTube user UnusualSuspect2011, which mashes up the cheeziness of the 90s with the Power Rangers theme song and one of Marvel's most epic teamups with The Avengers. Get ready for a combination of nostalgia and Marvel goodness rolled into one.
The acquisition of Lucasfilm by Disney is one of hottest topics this week, causing lots of buzz and mixed feelings among geeks. The announcement of more Star Wars movies definitely has many excited, while others expressed disgust. Darth Vader on the other hand doesn't seem to mind, and he's celebrating the new merger his own way... by going to Disneyland.
Ever wondered what the actors would talk about in between scenes from The Dark Knight Rises? Well, a couple of audio outtakes were leaked on the internet day, and apparently, even after shooting three movies together, Morgan Freeman had no idea that Bruce Wayne and Batman were the same person. Yeah, Christian Bale sounded pretty damn shocked when he discovers this...
You've probably seen your fare share of movie posters and trailers, and thought to yourself , "boy, that looks awfully familiar." Well, that shouldn't be a surprise, as a lot of studios tend to recycle the same ideas to promote their films. Take this new mock trailer for example. It borrows clips from some of the biggest blockbuster hits in the past year, and shows you that indeed, just about every 3D movie is the same.
Looks like the term 'Forever Alone' has reached a whole new dimension with this one... the virtual dimension that is. A certain lonely man in Japan has had just too much time on his hands and made Miku as his virtual girlfriend by hacking an Xbox Kinect Device, some 3D video glasses, and some sadness and loneliness to boot. Yeah, and there's also some video of his virtual girlfriend in action.
If you've watched The Avengers (which you probably have by know... or should be soon), you have to admit, that grand finale was marvelous (see what I did there?). Our heroes flew, leaped and battled their way against the Chitauri invasion on the streets of Manhattan, all while being heavily outnumbered. Luckily for New York (and the rest of the world), they won. But did you ever wondered... how much would all that damage cost to repair?
If you watched The Avengers and have no idea what the image above is, then shame on you (some advice). But for those who have watched this scene, you might get a little kick out of this.
